Two free things first: check nothing on the counter or in the cabinet is fouling the front, and cut the power at the breaker for a minute to let the control reset. If it still will not run its drawer, that is the drive or the switches that tell the appliance where the drawer is, and both are ordinary repairs. ### It opens but will not heat. That points at the interlocks — the switches that confirm the drawer is properly closed. The appliance is refusing to run for the right reason, which is why we replace those rather than bypass them. It is also the cheaper end of this work. ### The door on my built-in unit has started to catch. Usually the hinge or the alignment, and worth dealing with before it becomes the latch. A door that has to be pushed to close is putting the load somewhere it was not designed for. ### Can a drawer mechanism be adjusted rather than replaced? Often, yes.
