Is it the appliance or the panel?
On a panel-ready cabinet the front is your cabinetmaker's, hung on the appliance's hinges and carrying its own weight. Hardware that has loosened produces a door that will not seal — every symptom of a failing appliance, at a fraction of the cost. That is checked first, every time.

Along the whole perimeter rather than by eye, including the hinge side where a tired gasket usually gives up first and the corners where it is hardest to see.

Is condensation around the door a seal problem?
In a South Florida August, often not. Warm humid air meeting a cold cabinet leaves its water behind, and a door opened frequently will do that with a perfect seal. What is worth checking is whether the gasket is sitting flat all the way round, whether the door closes square, and whether something on a shelf is holding it a fraction open.
How do I test the seal myself?
A banknote closed in the door at several points around the perimeter. If it pulls out with no resistance in one place and grips everywhere else, that is where the seal has gone. It costs nothing and it tells us where to start.
The door has started to sit crooked.
On a paneled appliance that is more often the panel and its hardware than the appliance, and that is a much smaller job. Mention when you book that the front is a cabinet panel — it changes what we look at first.
Can a bad seal really make the cabinet warm?
Yes, and it is why this row exists. A cabinet leaking cold air runs constantly, ices up in the wrong places and still drifts warm — the whole symptom list of a sealed-system problem for a fraction of the money. It is the first thing we rule out and one of the more satisfying repairs to find.
